Diane Crompton has a knack for bringing out the best in people and making connections. As a social media and personal branding strategist Diane has over 20 years of experience in coaching, recruiting, education and training. She was an early adopter of social networking tools like LinkedIn and has co-authored several books on this subject, “Seven Days to Online Networking” (2008) and “Find a Job through Social Networking” (2010). She’s shared this expertise with hundreds of professionals from diverse industry backgrounds through one-on-one coaching, group instruction, live and web based instruction.

As an educator Diane enjoyed connecting her students to new learning experiences. She leveraged the ability to coach individuals on communicating their unique brand in her experience as a national recruiter, finding just the right candidate for the right job. Diane has taken this ability to a higher more expansive level through providing coaching and consulting to professionals on how to build their personal brand and make connections through leveraging social media.

In addition to her background as an educator, and a nationwide recruiter for several contingency and retained search firms, she’s worked for over nine years as a Senior Consultant with an international human resources consulting organization. In this role Diane has provided coaching and career transition services to clients and personnel from all organizational levels and industry backgrounds, including Fortune 500 firms in Atlanta and nationally.

She has served as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) regarding the utilization of social networking tools for career management and personal branding and enjoys speaking at industry, corporate and academic events and is a frequent contributor to media on this topic. Diane holds a B.S. degree in Education from Springfield College in Massachusetts, combined with graduate studies in Instructional Design. She is a member of ACPI (Association of Career Professionals International), and CDI (Career Directors International).
